KARACHI, November 26, 2019 ( – Pakistan cricket team who lost to Australia in the Gabba test, will face another stern test at Adelaide when they take on host Australia in the final day and night test starting on Friday 29th November 2019.

It is learnt that stylish middle order batsman Babar Azam will bat at number 4 while Imam-ul-Haq will replace out of form Haris Sohail which means that captain Azhar Ali will be back to his normal place at number 3 in the batting order.

Asad Shafiq is likely to bat either at number 5 or number 6 while fast bowler Muhammad Abbas who had phenomenal success against Australia in the test series played in UAE is likely to replace Imran Khan Sr. in the playing eleven.

On the other hand, there is no selection worries for Australia as they likely to retain playing xi for the Adelaide test. However, there are news from the Aussie camp that Steven Smith is likely to reinstate as skipper of Australian test team while Tim Paine may not be able to retain his place after Smith as skipper as they already have Mathew Wade in playing xi. But all these changes may take place later this summer i.e. in 2020.

Australia won the Gabba test by convincing margin of an inning and five runs despite brilliant century by Babar Azam and excellent resistant by wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan & leg spinner Yasir Shah. Both Yasir and Rizwan scored their career best batting in the second inning of First Domain Test at Brisbane.
