LONDON, England, June 24, 2020 (SNN247.com) – It is reported here that the 1st test of Pakistan tour of England will start from August 5 at Old Trafford, Manchester.
Pakistan cricket team is expecting to leave for a tour of England on June 28 to play three test matches and three T20Is in August and September 2020. Pakistan Cricket Board has already announced a 29-member squad. It is reported that 10 Pakistani players were tested positive for COVID-19.
The ten players are Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Shadab Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hasnain, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Imran Khan, Haider Ali and Haris Rauf. The CEO of PCB Waseem Khan said in a statement, “It is not a great situation to be in and what it shows is these are 10 fit and young athletes … if it happens to players it can happen to anyone.” The support staff masseur Malang Ali was also tested positive for COVID-19.

First Test August 5-9 at Old Trafford
Second Test August 13-17 at Southampton
Third Test August 21-25 at Southampton
1st T20I August 29 at Southampton
2nd T20I August 31 at Southampton
3rd T20I September 2 at Southampton
The star right-handed batsman Azhar Ali will lead Pakistan cricket team in test matches for the first time in England. Azhar Ali made his test debut in 2009 in England against Australia. The number 1 World T20 batsman Babar Azam will lead Pakistan cricket team in three T20Is against host England.
The international cricket will be resuming with the test match between England and West Indies starting from July 8 at Southampton. The West Indies’ cricket team already reached England to play three-match test series.
The second test match between England and West Indies will start on July 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester. The third and final test will start on July 24 at Old Trafford, Manchester.
